Registration at 10am | Parade at 11:00 am
Starts at Queen and Lake Street, St. Catharines

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! Its, its…the annual Pied Piper Parade!

Children of Niagara, you are invited to become “Heroes in the Making” on September 21 at 11am. What heroes or heroines do you aspire to be? Who will be spotted? Will Batman drive the Bat mobile from Gotham City? Can he beat the Mighty Clark Kent who is flying from Metropolis? Or will Wonder Women lasso her competition and walk the route alone? Do not under estimate our firefighters who will surely put out any flames these competitors create! But no fire could ever stop Laura Secord from walking across this parade and saving what is hers and let’s not forget Sir Isaac Brock who will always defend his parade from invasion. Awards* presentations will immediately follow in Grapeland and the first 500 costumed mini heroes and heroines are invited to enjoy refreshments. The Robert Davis Kids Music and Comedy Show, where a big hunk of music and little chunk of comedy turn into a whole lot of fun, will wrap up the Pied Piper programming.

*Awards are comprised of a commemorative ribbon and an invitation for the winners and up to 3 other family members to be special guests in the Niagara Wine Festival VIP Grande Parade sitting area Saturday September 28th, and are presented to the best themed costumes.

Families are encouraged to enter Montebello Park with their strollers and belongings prior to the Parade to avoid security line-ups.
