RBC Opening Night
7:15-8:30pm • Images in Vogue
Formed in 1981, from the heart of Vancouver, B.C., the band toured with Bryan Adams, Duran Duran, and Depeche Mode. They would help define the sound of pop and new wave in the 80s with hits including Lust for Love, Save It, In The House, and Call it Love. Their albums were released in Germany, England and Australia. They achieved 4 Casby awards and 2 Juno nominations for "The Top 100 Canadian Singles" and were recognized around the world as one of Canada's top new music bands of the 80's.
9-10:30pm • The Spoons
The band initially consisted of Gordon Deppe on lead vocals and guitar, Sandy Horne as vocals and bass, Brett Wickens on keyboards, synths and Peter Shepherd on the drums. In late 1979, Shepherd left the band and was replaced by Derrick Ross.
Their breakthrough album, Arias & Symphonies, spawned three Top 40 hits in Canada with “Nova Heart”, “Arias & Symphonies”, and “Smiling in Winter”, all dance-oriented New Wave hits. This success allowed them to become the opening act for bands such as Culture Club, Simple Minds, and The Police. The Spoons continue to play occasional shows in the GTA and recently released the 30th Anniversary Edition of their Arias and Symphonies album, available in a CD format and also through iTunes.

All born and raised in Niagara Falls, the rock-esque quartet oozes with melodic instrumentals and larger-than-life vocals and have acquired a clean sound and effortless feel which does not go unnoticed.
5-6:45pm • Back in the Daze
Back In The Daze is a five piece band comprised of students from St. Catharines who bring a positive and happy vibe to the stage, enjoying the tunes from “Back in the Day” and entertaining audiences with classic oldies.
7:30-10:30pm • Elton Rohn
A Tribute to Elton John
Decked out in sequins and iconic sunglasses, Elton Rohn entertains with all of the spirit and passion that Elton John brings to the stage. This tribute band is sure to entertain you throughout the night as they perform all of the greatest hits!

Formed in 2008 by lead singer Kyle Petch (aka humbleHAB) Theatre Crisp took a full year to practice and polish their sound to the point.
1:45-2:45pm • Jermaine Cowan
Jermaine Cowan performs with the Circle 5 to motivate through his inspirational lyrics, and his body-moving songs, which are a dynamic fusion of hip-hop, pop and soul with urban reggae.
3-4:45pm • Barbarosa
An alternative-folk band founded by Patrick Beedling in 2011. Based in St. Catharines, the group’s debut EP, Sinking West, is the culmination of two years of writing with dark acoustic textures underpinned by a pop sensibility, the songs call forth images of frontier lifestyles, modern progress and romance.
5-8pm • Hotel California
A Tribute to the Eagles
The original tribute to The Eagles, Hotel California prides itself on creating the illusion that you are listening to the actual Eagles. They’ve shared the stage with the Doobie Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Styx and many more international artists.
