Enjoy the colour and the pageantry of one of North America's foremost street parades. The CIBC Grande Parade hosts an oustanding procession of marching bands, drum corps, community groups, majorettes, floats and amazing performances, attracting upwards of 100,000 spectators to the streets of downtown St. Catharines each year. Commemoration of the Bicentennial of the War of 1812is this year's Grande Parade inspired theme "History Comes Alive". Invited participants include historical re-enactors, members from the First Nations and US performers.
Remember to park early in downtown St. Catharines. Road closures begin as early as 9:45am.
