58th Annual Pen Centre Grande Parade

Enjoy the colour and the pageantry of one of North America’s foremost street parades! The 58th Pen Centre Grande Parade hosts an outstanding procession of marching bands, drum corps, community groups, majorettes, floats and amazing performances. Attracting upwards of 200,000 spectators to the streets of downtown St. Catharines each year, this year’s parade will be our biggest celebration of the fall harvest to date. This year’s Grande Parade theme is ‘Embrace Your Olympic Spirit’ and is a celebration of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics and will include the RBC and Community Torch Bearers as Grand Marshalls. The 58th Pen Centre Grande Parade will capture the attention of all ages. A parade of this magnitude is a daunting task to coordinate, the Festival would like to thank our volunteers, WP Warehousing, and the NAC (Niagara Artists Company). These local organizations have been instrumental in supporting parade participants in the creation and execution of their floats and demonstrations.
