Marynissen Estates Winery has been synonymous with big, bold, age able red wines since 1991. Planted in 1978, Lot  31 is home to Canada's oldest Cabernet Sauvignon vines and provides the meat for another winner in the newly released and recently crowned "Red House Wine for the Ontario Legislative Assembly for 2010." The 2007 Cabernet Merlot is a 50/50 blend aged 14 months in a combination of French, Canadian and American oak.
